Gbolabo is a result-driven finance professional with over 16+ years experience in developing, implementing and driving digital payment solutions across Africa. He currently heads the payment and acceptance business at the United Bank for Africa where he is responsible for overseeing and growing the business across 20 countries in Africa. He has worked with multiple financial institutions in different capacities and roles and has successfully managed key payment products across Cards, USSD, Mobile Banking, Web Payment, Online Banking, Chat Banking and API Banking. He is a graduate of the University of Lagos and also possesses a Masters degree from the Warwick Business School in the UK. Gbolabo is a Certified Chartered Accountant with the renowned UK professional accounting body ACCA and has undergone numerous specialist training in card payments at both local and international institutions.
